Two months ago, we had an ambitious idea to bring our creative community together, in a time when everyone was craving a little sense of connection. Today, we are still glowing from how incredible The PhotoShelter Summit for Brands turned out to be – all because of you.
Thank you for joining the conversation, asking thoughtful questions, sharing inspiring stories and sparking new ideas. You brought the energy, and we couldn’t have asked for a better audience for our 35 fantastic speakers. I think we can all agree, there simply wasn’t a boring moment in the day.
Thank you to all of our incredible speakers for sharing thoughtful, inspiring stories, for celebrating the power of a moment, and for keeping us on the edge of our seats all day long!
We started the day out right with a keynote presentation from content marketing expert Joe Pulizzi. Joe shared insights from his new ebook on what marketers need to do now to achieve success in the wake of a global crisis.
@JoePulizzi is providing a great start to the day. Already generating ideas. Always learning. https://t.co/iGO2hO4DX8

Next, our speakers talked about how they capture the power of a moment, sharing the stories behind amazing campaigns and projects like @bullsarchive, the Buccaneers uniform drop, and LA Zoo to You.
This was a great insight into how these two teams have been working to make sure that they take advantage of their biggest moments. Thanks to @psforbrands for bringing us all together for the day! Worlds collided as MLB’s Jessica Carroll and the NFL’s Ben Liebenberg came together to talk photo strategy. These leaders in sports photography shared everything from how they capture a moment to the nitty gritty details of their workflows.
The virtual summit put on by @psforbrands has been great so far.

Perhaps the most magical part of the day was watching you connect with each other – we’ve always known we have an unmatched community of creative people, and it was awe-inspiring to have all of you in the same (virtual) room for the first time.
The best news of all? This is just the beginning. We’ve opened up some new channels on Slack so you can continue the conversation and connect with new creative people:
- #workflow In this channel, share tips and questions about the gear, tools and processes that make your workflow run smoothly.
- #job-board Here, you can network, find the perfect candidate or land an exciting new gig!
- #behind-the-scenes Time to pull back the curtain. Share your passion projects, show us the key steps you took, and tell us what you learned along the way!
Moving forward, this can be your go-to place to meet new creative people, network and share tips and ideas.
Thank you again for spending your day with us, and for making every conversation more meaningful!
