On the way to the 2018 World Series Championship, the Boston Red Sox had an iconic season both on and off the field.
It all started when the team’s new manager, Alex Cora, asked Manager of Photography Billie Weiss to fill the blank wall in his office by printing a photo for each win of the season. They went into the postseason with more than 100 photos on the wall.
When the Red Sox had a break in the week leading up to the World Series, the team behind the lens decided to get creative. They projected larger-than-life photos of the record-setting season onto landmarks throughout Boston and Cambridge, celebrating the season’s most exciting moments all over the city.
Now, the Red Sox are starting a new season. What’s next for this team, in terms of baseball and photography?
